UCLA: Our Stories, Our Impact

As part of UCLA’s yearlong 100th birthday celebration, the Institute for Research on Labor and Employment (IRLE), the Labor Center, and the Chancellor’s Advisory Council on Immigration Policy, in partnership with the Institute of American Cultures, the American Indian Studies Center, the Asian American Studies Center, the Ralph J. Bunche Center for African American Studies, and the Chicano Studies Research Center partnered on a special initiative titled, UCLA: Our Stories, Our Impact.

UCLA: Our Stories, Our Impact is a multimedia traveling exhibit that highlights the role of UCLA and its alumni in advancing equity and equality in America. The exhibit is anchored by the stories of present and former Bruins who have advanced and shaped social justice movements. The exhibit launched on the UCLA campus on October 3, 2019 and traveled to numerous locations across the city and concluded at the end of UCLA’s Centennial Celebration in June 2020.
