Quality Employment in Multinational Enterprises in Mexico
Jorge Carrillo (IRLE Scholar)
My research here at IRLE will continue with two research projects that had the opportunity to coordinate, both complementary and funded by CONACYT, on economic and social behavior of multinational companies established in Mexico. In order to advance in the analysis of these important companies in the formulation of public policy, this study seeks to develop a methodology for the study of the quality of employment in multinational companies. The study of multinationals in Mexico, as in many other countries, is becoming more and more important. Multinational companies according to Dicken (2011) and Sklair (2001) are the institutions that influence more than any other in the process of globalization. I will analyse Colef MNEs survey data base and ENOE-INEGI national data base.
